A former officer of the Indian Foreign Service, Ramesh Bisla served the Government of India across multiple international postings before bringing decades of experience in Indian real estate to the founding of Diplomats Group. That combination — global exposure and deep domestic expertise — shapes the company’s governance-first culture, its disciplined land acquisition, and its uncompromising approach to compliance and disclosure.
Across my years in the Foreign Service, I watched how great cities are made. What stayed with me was not the height of the buildings, but the standards behind them — the seriousness with which those societies treat structural safety, environmental responsibility, and the sanctity of a commitment made to a citizen.
I brought that lens into real estate. A family that commits its life savings to a home deserves more than a glossy brochure. It deserves clean title, honest disclosure, sound engineering, and a delivery date that means something. Trust is the only asset in this business that genuinely compounds, and every approval we obtain before launch, every specification we refuse to dilute when costs rise, is a deposit into that account.

A civil engineer from IIT Roorkee, Utsav Bisla leads engineering, execution, and delivery at Diplomats Group. His remit runs from structural design review and material specification to on-site quality control and the finishing standards customers experience every day. Under his leadership, the group's buildings are engineered for structural resilience and long-term stability with real margins, not minimum ones.

Engineering teaches you to think about failure where loads concentrate, where water finds its way in, where a shortcut taken in month four becomes a crack in year eight. So we specify materials on performance, we test what arrives on site rather than trusting the invoice, and we give the joinery, the floor level, the way a door closes, the same attention as the elements no one will ever see.
A home should still feel solid decades after handover. Precision is not a premium feature here. It is the baseline.

A specialist in renewable energy and environmental engineering, he ensures the group's projects meet the highest standards of sustainable development — from solar integration and water recycling to energy-efficient building envelopes. He also leads the group's CSR agenda.
The buildings we complete this decade will still be standing in 2075, facing a climate materially different from today's. A building designed only for present conditions is obsolete on the day it opens.
Sustainability is an engineering discipline, not a communications exercise. It is decided in the orientation of a block, the performance of a glazing specification, the sizing of a solar array, the thermal behaviour of a wall. We make those decisions early, while they still cost nothing to make well — and then verify them through construction rather than assume them.
The benefit reaches our residents as lower running costs, greater comfort through extreme weather, and an asset that holds its value as standards inevitably tighten. We are building for the India of the coming decades, not the last one.
